Streetwear im Black&White Style mit großen Prints. Das ist The Tribe vom Künstler, Autor und Maler Thoas Lindner. Der in Berlin ansässige Designer beschäftigt sich in seinen Pieces mit dem Thema Menschheit als Gruppe. Viele Prints thematisieren fehlenden Zusammenhalt und den Wunsch nach genau diesem. Denn schlussendlich überlebt die Menschheit am besten, wenn es Solidarität statt Individualismus gibt und man sich gegenseitig hilft. Und so macht es natürlich auch Sinn, dass der Künstler auf nachhaltig produzierte Rohlinge, wie Shirts, Pullis oder Beanies zurückgreift, die aus Bio-Baumwolle und klimaneutral hergestellt werden. Diese werden dann in Berlin von Hand und mit umweltfreundlichen, wasserbasierten Farben von Hand bedruckt. Und da Thoas nach eigener Aussage nicht an das System Geld glaubt, bietet er Kleidung auch im Tauschhandel an. Many prints thematize the lack of cohesion and the desire for precisely this. After all, humanity survives best when there is solidarity instead of individualism and people help each other. And so it makes sense, of course, that the artist falls back on sustainably produced blanks, such as shirts, sweaters or beanies, which are made from organic cotton and climate neutral. These are then printed by hand in Berlin, using environmentally friendly, water-based inks. And since Thoas says he doesn't believe in the money system, he also offers clothes in barter.
